About our privacy policy
We care deeply about your privacy. We therefore only process data that we need for (improving) our services and we handle the information we have collected about you and your use of our services with care. We never make your data available to third parties for commercial purposes.

This privacy policy applies to the use of the website and the services made accessible through it. The effective date of these terms is 13/10/2025; when a new version is published, the validity of all previous versions lapses. This privacy policy describes which data about you we collect, what these data are used for, and with whom and under what conditions these data may be shared with third parties. We also explain how we store your data, how we protect your data against misuse, and what rights you have with respect to the personal data you provide to us.

If you have questions about our privacy policy, you can contact our privacy contact person. You will find the contact details at the end of this privacy policy.

About data processing
Below you can read how we process your data, where we (have others) store it, which security techniques we use, and who can access the data.

Website software
WordPress
Our website is developed with WordPress software via Mooi Online. Personal data that you provide to us for the purpose of our services are shared with this party. Mooi Online has access to your data to provide us with (technical) support; they will never use your data for any other purpose. Under the agreement we have concluded with them, Mooi Online is obliged to take appropriate security measures. Mooi Online uses cookies to collect technical information regarding your use of the software; no personal data are collected and/or stored.

Web hosting
Mooi Online
We purchase web hosting and email services from Mooi Online. Mooi Online processes personal data on our behalf and does not use your data for its own purposes. However, this party may collect metadata about the use of the services. These are not personal data. Mooi Online has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent loss and unauthorized use of your personal data. Mooi Online is bound to confidentiality under the agreement.

Email and mailing lists
Contact Form 7
Our website uses Contact Form 7, a plugin integrated within the WordPress system, to collect email addresses and messages submitted via contact forms. When you fill out a form on our website, the information you provide – such as your name, email address, and message – is sent to us via our website’s email system. This data is not stored in an external database or shared with third parties. The personal data submitted through Contact Form 7 are used solely to respond to your inquiry or to provide the services you requested.

Mooi Online
We use the services of Mooi Online for our regular business email traffic. This party has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent misuse, loss, and corruption of your and our data as much as possible. Mooi Online has no access to our mailbox and we handle all our email traffic confidentially.

Purpose of data processing
General purpose of processing
We use your data exclusively for the purpose of our services. This means that the purpose of the processing is always directly related to the assignment you provide. We do not use your data for (targeted) marketing. If you share data with us and we use this data to contact you at a later time – other than at your request – we will ask for your explicit consent. Your data are not shared with third parties, other than to meet accounting and other administrative obligations. These third parties are all bound to confidentiality under the agreement between them and us or an oath or legal obligation.

Automatically collected data
Data automatically collected by our website are processed with the aim of further improving our services. These data (for example, your IP address, web browser, and operating system) are not personal data.

Cooperation with fiscal and criminal investigations
In certain cases, Mooi Online may be obliged by law to share your data in connection with a government fiscal or criminal investigation. In such a case, we are compelled to share your data, but we will oppose this within the possibilities provided to us by law.

Retention periods
We retain your data for as long as you are our client. This means that we keep your customer profile until you indicate that you no longer wish to use our services. If you notify us of this, we will also interpret this as a request to be forgotten. Under applicable administrative obligations, we must retain invoices containing your (personal) data; we will therefore retain these data for as long as the applicable term runs. However, employees no longer have access to your client profile and documents that we produced in response to your assignment.

Your rights
Under applicable Dutch and European legislation, you as a data subject have certain rights with regard to the personal data processed by us or on our behalf. We explain below what these rights are and how you can invoke them. As a rule, to prevent misuse, we send copies and transcripts of your data only to your email address already known to us. If you wish to receive the data at another email address or, for example, by post, we will ask you to identify yourself. We keep a record of completed requests; in the case of a request to be forgotten, we record anonymized data. You will receive all copies and transcripts of data in the machine-readable data format that we use within our systems. You have the right at any time to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) if you suspect that we are using your personal data incorrectly.

You always have the right to access the data that we (have others) process and that relate to your person or can be traced back to you. You can submit a request to that effect to our privacy contact person. You will then receive a response to your request within 30 days. You always have the right to have the data that we (have others) process and that relate to your person or can be traced back to you, corrected. You can submit a request to that effect to our privacy contact person. You will then receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you a confirmation at the email address known to us that the data have been adjusted.

Right to restriction of processing
You always have the right to restrict the processing of data that we (have others) process that relate to your person or can be traced back to you. Right to data portability
You always have the right to have the data that we (have others) process and that relate to your person or can be traced back to you, carried out by another party. You can submit a request to that effect to our privacy contact person. You will then receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you at the email address known to us transcripts or copies of all data about you that we have processed or that have been processed by other processors or third parties on our behalf. In such a case, it is likely that we can no longer continue to provide the service, because the secure linkage of data files can then no longer be guaranteed.

Right to object and other rights
In certain cases, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data by or on behalf of Mooi Online. If you object, we will immediately cease data processing pending the handling of your objection. If your objection is well-founded, we will make copies and/or transcripts of data that we (have others) process available to you and then permanently cease processing. You also have the right not to be subject to automated individual decision-making or profiling. We do not process your data in such a way that this right applies. If you believe this is the case, please contact our privacy contact person.
