I am a PhD candidate in Political Science at the University of Amsterdam with an interdisciplinary background spanning psychology, communication science, economics, and statistics. My research examines how social status cues activate status-related personality traits that help explain support for populist radical-right parties and how meritocratic discourse fuels this process. Previously, I studied (environmental) social movements, focusing on collective emotions, identities, and the moral underpinnings of normative and non-normative collective action. Beyond research, I teach courses in political psychology and introductory statistics.
