Delaney Peterson is a PhD candidate at the Amsterdam School of Communication Research, working on the ‘Under Pressure’ project under the supervision of Bert Bakker and Gijs Schumacher. Delaney’s work lies at the intersection of political psychology and political communication as she explores the ways politics and psychological well-being intersect. She currently investigates the concept of political mental health, using a mixed-methods approach—spanning surveys, interviews, and experimental design. Before coming to ASCoR, Delaney did a Bachelor of Arts in Political Theory at The New School in New York City, a Master of Science in Psychology with Lynn University, and a Master of Science in Social Science Research here at the University of Amsterdam.
